Meet Rosie Padilla | Public Figure and Small Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rosie Padilla and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rosie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I am going to have to say the feedback that I get from complete strangers. I shared something so personal about myself to the world and by doing so, so many mothers, father’s, friends of friend’s to my own friends being vocal and coming out of suffering in silence themselves about struggles and hardships in life. My success is based on my story being able to bring comfort and give some kind of encouragement to anyone that is going through a hard time and that may need some empowering or uplifting. So I do what I can to do daily reminders of self worth and positivity. I created merchandise with encouraging messages for men and women even children and infants. I want to continue to be successful by making a difference in peoples lives.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I want the world to know my daughter’s name: Angelica Rose… She is the reason behind my movement. Losing a child is one of the hardest pains to overcome. But somehow I managed to gain the strength to rise up and overcome depression, I took authority of MY story/stories. I owned every part of my pain and struggle. I wasn’t ashamed of where I’ve been and what I’ve been through. I think what sets me apart from many other women that are in the same industry as me is the fact that I knew I had the following and I utilized that tool for a higher benefit than getting just likes and hearts on my pictures. People were listening to what I had to say. They weren’t there because I was exposing parts of my body. They are there because I bring them comfort in many more ways than just being a pretty face. I share my imperfections and flaws with no shame. Sure I post a picture or videos with a filter but my lives are ME. Authentically me, lines around my eyes when I smile and enough visible freckles that you can play connect the dots with.
I have embraced every part of my imperfect existence and made it perfectly clear that its fine to be authentically imperfect no matter what you look like. Self love is the only love that can be promised. Because in todays world, not everyone is going to be a fan of yours and you have learn how to be okay with not being everyone’s favorite. Were not here to make everyone happy. So make yourself and your home happy first. Everything and everyone that is intended to be in your path will align when the time is right.
I created my brand Kwrockz ( Kicking it with Rockz ) because I enjoy interacting with my followers. I like to chat with them about different topics to give and get advice. I started creating merchandise with different slogans and encouraging/positive words. My merchandise is dedicated to self love and empowerment and I even throw in some sarcasm every now and then. Every one needs a laugh from time to time right.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am an introvert so my days out are not too exciting lol but I would def say that we would go visit 303 Bar and Grill in Bishop Arts. They have the most amazing Tequila Chicken Breast. It’s def one of the best spots to visit any time of the day. We would have a few drinks at the bar before watching a movie at The Alamo Draft House in Las Colinas. I love that.
I am a big Dallas Cowboys fan so if there was a game going, I would most certainly make sure we attend the game or Texas Live.
Grand Prairie also has the best Italian spot. Roma’s has the best Rigatoni vodka. Omg, the best.
But, my favorite place is here at home, outside in the back yard with the projector screen up to watching a movie with the kids or some good country music on while having a few homemade frozen margaritas.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Father my hero and Mother for her comforting words , my siblings – especially my sister for always being hard on me when I need it yet for always calming me down when I need guidance. I can’t leave out my supportive children, Adrian, Alyssa, Jason and Juvi. I don’t know where I would be without them. They are all my best friends and I am so thankful for them. They are my everything. My best friends Abby, Becky & Paul. I’ve known them since I was a kid myself and they have always been the realest friends I have ever had. Sandy G, man, I got lucky there. Sandy was a mother to me and continues to be a mother figure to me since I was a child. She is a true blessing and I love her. Oklahoma, I will never forget you and I will always smile when I think of you! I want to also recognize and shout out to my loyal followers and fans that have watched me grow and blossom since the old Myspace days and up to the newer fans that I gained on this journey.
