We had the good fortune of connecting with Rosa García and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rosa, what makes you happy? Why?
Since I was a little girl, caring for others and making them feel safe has been my #1 goal in life. In Pre-K, my teacher asked everyone in the class what we wanted to be when we grew up. My friend Ana said “a princess!”, others said they wanted to be teachers, lawyers. I raised my hand and I said “I want to be a mom”. Which sums me up in a nutshell – I just want to nurture. Whether it’s my relationships, myself or my business, I strive to help others in this lifetime.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I take pride in differentiating my businesses from others in the market.

My non-toxic and eco-friendly cleaning business, EcoClean & Organization, stands out from the rest due to our mission statement of always providing services with non-toxic and effective products. We also use eco-conscious practices when it comes to supplies as well, like for example using reusable mop pads, cleaning towels, and a paper towel-free window and glass cleaning system. As far as non-toxic cleaning, we only use effective and human safe products to clean your home. Our products are mostly plant based and EWG certified.

In my marketing agency, Ruby Marketing, we differentiate ourselves from anyone in the market by offering a simple solution to a seemingly difficult problem – showing up on social media. I offer Wedding Day Content services that offer a quick turnaround on edited content, bespoke marketing plans for your business, and one-time website design or branding services to elevate or create your brand.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would absolutely start at Coco Bean, which offers organic and delicious coffee and treats PLUS a beautiful trail behind them for walks.

Then we would have lunch at Fire Fish for amazing sushi options, and dinner at Heritage East downtown. We can finish the night by going to the speakeasy inside Heritage East, The Plaid Rabbit, for incredible and original cocktails and vibes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My friends have always been there for me when I go through transitions in life. Transitioning from a soul-sucking 9-5pm job at a big corporation to a full-time business owner of two companies was intense, to say the least. Throughout it all, my girlfriends encouraged me and talked me into taking the leap for myself and my future family. Thank you to all of you, but most of all Edlin, Felicia, and Katie. You guys are the best confidants and supporters.
