We had the good fortune of connecting with Ronnie Enns and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ronnie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe that being able to take advantage of the right opportunities at the right time has done more to grow our company than anything else. Many well-known, successful people attribute their success to luck. I believe there are many educated, talented, and hard working people who have been unable to match the success of their peers simply because they didn’t have the same opportunities. We’ve had our share of good luck and bad luck, but through it all we’ve done our best to stick to our values and prepare for future opportunities. Being decisive and able to pivot quickly has benefited us greatly when those opportunities presented themselves.

What should our readers know about your business?
Happy Trailer Sales is a family owned and operated trailer dealership with six dealership locations across Texas. We believe that valuing people and treating others the way we would want to be treated is one of the keys to our success. That starts with valuing our employees so they can pass along that treatment to all of our customers. Growing our team to meet new challenges is a constant effort, but it’s also one of the most rewarding parts of our business. As John C. Maxwell put it, “teamwork makes the dream work”!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start the day with White Rhino Coffee in downtown Waxahachie, and then drive up to Cedar Ridge Preserve for a hike. After our hike we’d go to Oddfellows in Bishop Arts for brunch and then play some games at Backyard Dallas in Deep Ellum.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First I want to thank God for blessing me with an amazing family. I’ve also been blessed with close friends who share my passion for business and leadership that continue to motivate me and guide me. One of the most helpful resources I’ve found for growing in my leadership is the Craig Groeschel Leadership Podcast.
