We had the good fortune of connecting with Rochelle Molina and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rochelle, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve been a serial entrepreneur since I came out the womb! At a young age I was convinced I could generate income by running my own business instead of having to work for someone else. Of course as an adult I worked in real estate for many years but those experiences helped me within my own business endeavors. Starting and running a business has always been second nature for me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am the Owner of T&R Real Estate Investments here in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We specialize in the purchase and sale of distressed houses as well as partnering with Realtors when needed. I am most proud of my company because it is a Woman owned minority owned business. I believe we need more women owned real estate businesses to receive the spot light especially in a male dominated industry. I started this company in 2018 and it has taken extreme dedication to keep going every day. At times entrepreneurship can be lonely but after you close deals you get your mojo back and grow to be a stronger entrepreneur. Being an entrepreneur is glamorized but honestly it takes discipline because no one is going to force you to show up every day. You have to show up for yourself and make something out of nothing! It’s definitely not for everyone. I keep myself accountable daily and set weekly goals for myself so that I do not steer off course. Success is in the daily guys!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Visiting dallas you have to go to a Mavs game BUT since we are in a pandemic thats not going to happen at the moment. Frisco is a lot of fun. My partner and I spend a lot of time between Frisco and downtown denton square. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a shout out to the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Kiyosaki. I read this book in 2007 and it changed my mindset and my life. It resonated with me because traditional college wasn’t my thing. I was more passionate about entrepreneurship and this book confirmed that I was headed in the right direction.
