We had the good fortune of connecting with Rob Gs Aka Lucky and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rob Gs Aka, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk To Me Is Very Important. Risk Is what helps make you and your success. every thing i do and did involved risk far as chasing my dreams and learning new things. Taking the risk of failing when learning and performing music. Taking risk far as quitting my job to not only pursue music but also to start up my own studio business and go full throttle. It was scary and hard but it was worth it now im making way more than i made at my job and im more proud of myself than ever. If you wanna get far in life its a must you take risk and fail that leads to success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m Definitely in love and obsessed with my art. I think what sets me apart from others is my good energy and work ethic and just the motivation I give to my team and even strangers. most music artists Truly focus on the money instead of the dream. It wasn’t and still isn’t easy at all. You have to pay for promo, distribution deals, videos etc. I used to think that if I really liked the song and I just post it on YouTube I would take off. I had to learn the hard way that its more to the formula. That Process makes it worth it. It takes time and patience and everyone has to move at their own pace. Without God I wouldn’t be able to continue this path of bein an artist and entrepreneur. Without my children also the weight on my shoulders as a father and having to change my whole mindset and lifestyle for them it was very hard On top of fighting in court to see them behind all of this they are my motivation. It was very hard to overcome everything I’ve been through but I kept working and fighting my way out of depression, Heartbreak and living in poverty. It felt like at one point I was never gonna get out of that slump. I Almost lost my studio business and all. It Took God hope and separation. Today I’m still not where I wanna be but I’m not where I used to be and I’m still going. I was able to take the risk of leaving my job and generating more income from my studio than I did at my job And that was a great achievement for me and something my children And girlfriend can be proud of.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to the Philly Area To show them around the city. I also would take them in a place about 25 minutes away from me called West Chester Pa. Its a lot of fun and amazing things to do out there. My favorite place to go out there is barnabys. Its like a bar but its so much fun there and everyone is there to have fun and its good energy and ways to connect with other people of any business mainly music but I love it there. Also I would take them to a place called the valley forge historic trail park. Its fun for Excercise, Hiking, And learning history of where the first place George washington won the war at so its pretty fun and amazing horse riding and much more.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Well i wanna start off with thanking Jaylin Williams Aka Jaykid. He Opened My Eyes Up To Networking alone but not only that he help me with mixing and mastering. which i also have to thank one of my best friends S.hot He the first to ever show me how to record myself and mix then i met Jaylin through facebook. we both had the same work ethic and drive. We Teamed Up and he taught me pretty much everything i know far as mixing and what the meaning of it is. Now i have a studio that I’m able to generate income off of on the side of making music. I Also Have to thank my team my homie Jay Papi And My Homie Bizzy Mar those two are pretty much in the studio everyday giving me ideas workin with me and also help me inside the studio. Its important to be surrounded by people with the same mindset as you. they all deserve credit and i couldn’t of been able to get this far without these guys and I’ve learned so much far as positivity motivation and bein humble and putting out good energy.
