Meet Rita Stabile | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rita Stabile and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rita, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
As a child, I spent hours poring through boxes of family photos. Each one held stories of laughter, connection, and love. Those moments came alive in my hands. Nothing compares to the experience of holding prints and albums in your hands. My business promises to get printed products back in your hands and in your homes. I had worked with photographers periodically over the past 10 years and they almost all delivered digital files to me. Guess where most of those digital files are? Still on my computer and not actually printed in my home.

Loomis Lane Photography will finish the photograph experience by making sure you have something physical to hold at the end of your experience. Prints last forever.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My goal is to create timeless images that will become cornerstones in the story of your family and your children. I will create images that will have you smiling every time you see them. I’ve scoured the internet trying to find the best companies that offer the highest quality prints that have a 200 year dark storage rating. The photographs and products you invest in will be with your family for generations.

The product I am most proud of is my Story Box. It is hand-crafted wood box that is made in Ireland and is filled with your favorite portraits. It has a stunning display window lets you showcase your favorite image while keeping your portraits safe from sunlight and dust.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you come to Denton, you have to visit the downtown square. One of my favorite things to do is grab take-out from Layalina’s, a unique Mediterranean restaurant with AMAZING shawarma. We take the food over to the courthouse lawn and enjoy dinner while people watching around the square. After dinner, I love to go to Oak Street Draught house and grab a drink to enjoy of their patio.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband is deserves all the recognition for the success of my business. His faith in me and willingness to let me follow my dreams is what made my business a reality. He has continually encouraged me to do what I love and that love is absolutely photography.
