We had the good fortune of connecting with Reggie Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reggie, what are you inspired by?
I’m into mastery. Most nights, I fall asleep watching small business owners and passion junkies deep in their bag. I draw inspiration from detailed tattooing, laying tile in a shower, a meticulous hair cut, practicing rifts on the guitar, cutting ribs, etc. Anything that’s done with craftsmanship, intentionality, and earnest care is my jam.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

We love serving. We serve love.

That means we shop like we shop for loved ones. That means we cook like we cook for loved ones. That means we’re on time, efficient, and sharp because that’s what service is. That means we do the extra stuff because that’s what service is. Loving serving and serving love is not just our mission, it’s who we are, what we hold true, and why we cook. And every opportunity we get to serve refreshes our love to do it.

This how we honor our grandfather.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

We’re going straight to go see Derrick at Smokaholics! Then, we would take highway 30 to breathe in all of that beautiful Fort Worth skyline as we make our way to Hotel Dryce. The next day, we’d go grab a lavender latte at Black Coffee, and something new to read at The Dock Bookshop. Afterwards, we’d head over to Carpenter’s Cafe to feed our soul and to Southern Classic Daquiri for our night cap!

Can we make this happen? Seriously? Anyone?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Mama. She’s Oprah if Oprah had a husband and some kids. She’s authored so many of my personal characteristics to include my: people and service orientation, emotional intelligence, solutions-focused-ness, an acceptance and love for challenges, creativity, agility, inquisitivity (that’s a word right?), and business prowess. I know nothing without her and everything through her. Once she tasted how serious we were about the business, she got us a 250-gallon smoker and things blew up. I love you to the moon and back, Mama!
