We had the good fortune of connecting with Re’Chonnise Means and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Re’Chonnise, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The reason I started ReLearn With Means Tutoring Company was to provide students with more one on one opportunities to grow. I am a certified school teacher and we have to tend to a certain curriculum. Although I may have students that don’t fully understand, I have to stay on track with the curriculum. Creating this company allowed me to help focus on what students need in that moment.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
ReLearn With Means was created to help close educational gaps in the lower grade levels. My goal has always been to help students experience educational growth. I tutor students in grades Kindergarten- 6th. My “why” for starting my company has always been the students. I wanted to be able to help grow more than the students that are assigned to my classroom roster. It is not always easy doing what I do but it is so worth it !

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my village. My family and friends are always so supportive whether it’s booking a session for their child, reposting a flyer, or liking a post. I want to personally thank them for always being in my corner.
