We had the good fortune of connecting with Rawle Harding and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rawle, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
One of the biggest habits that helped me succeed is consistency—showing up every day, putting in the work, and staying committed even when results weren’t immediate. Success isn’t always about talent alone; it’s about persistence.

Another key habit for me is having the courage to move forward despite fear. I’ve learned that fear is often a sign that I’m stepping outside my comfort zone, which is where my real growth happens. Instead of letting it hold me back, I’ve used it as fuel to push forward.

Lastly, I developed the habit of embracing my mistakes as learning opportunities. Instead of seeing failures as setbacks, I’ve trained myself to analyze what went wrong, adjust my approach, and turn those lessons into success. This mindset shift has been crucial in helping me grow, both personally and professionally.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My artistic journey has been a tapestry woven with self-discovery, resilience, and an unwavering belief in my vision. What sets my art apart is its authentic reflection of my personal experiences and emotions, allowing viewers to connect deeply with each piece.

One of my proudest achievements is overcoming self-doubt to recognize and embrace my innate talents. This internal battle was one of the most significant challenges I faced, but it taught me the invaluable lesson of self-belief. Learning to celebrate my accomplishments, no matter how small, became a cornerstone of my growth.

The path to where I stand professionally today was far from easy. Each obstacle served as a lesson, teaching me perseverance and the importance of maintaining my vision amidst adversity. These experiences have not only shaped my art but also fortified my character.

Through my journey, I’ve learned that challenges are not roadblocks but rather stepping stones to growth. Embracing failures as opportunities to learn has been pivotal in my development as an artist.

I want the world to know that my art is a testament to resilience and the power of self-belief. It embodies the highs and lows of my journey, serving as a beacon for others to find courage and inspiration in their own paths.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the perfect mix of nature, city life, great food, and music culture. Here’s how I’d plan it:

We’d kick things off by exploring Laguna Beach—one of the most beautiful spots in Orange County. We’d walk along the coastline, check out some tide pools, and maybe grab a bite at a great seafood spot like The Deck on Laguna Beach or Bear Flag Fish Co.

Next, we’d take a little getaway to Joshua Tree for a day and night under the stars. We’d go for a scenic hike during the day, then set up camp or just chill at an Airbnb, soaking in the surreal desert vibes. At night, we’d do some serious stargazing—nothing beats the view of the night sky out there.

Back in LA, we’d start the day with a hike up Runyon Canyon or to The Wisdom Tree, both of which offer incredible panoramic views of the city. It’s the perfect way to take in the LA skyline while getting some fresh air.

Since music is such a big part of my life, I’d take them out to experience the LA music scene firsthand. We’d hit up some music industry events, catch some live performances, and meet other amazing artists and creatives. For a night out, we might check out spots like The Peppermint Club, The Highlight Room, or a dope underground showcase.

To wrap up the trip, we’d do one final seafood feast—maybe at Water Grill or Connie & Ted’s. Then, we’d catch one last breathtaking LA sunset from the Griffith Observatory or El Matador Beach before they head home.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d first like to recognize the Creator of existence itself for keeping me going, guiding me through every step of my journey, and giving me the strength to keep pushing forward.

Of course, my mother has been a huge source of love and support, always believing in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. My mentor, Don, has played a pivotal role in shaping my mindset and helping me navigate challenges with wisdom and resilience.

I also have to shout out my small but strong circle of friends, who have stood by me through thick and thin. A special mention goes to David, my brothers Domenic and Vishon, and my sister Crystal each of them has poured wisdom, encouragement, and unwavering support into my life. They’ve all been lifelines, helping me grow, learn, and become the person I am today. I wouldn’t be here without them.
