We had the good fortune of connecting with Randy Salinas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Wasn’t much thought that went into it. I wanted provide people with delicious BBQ at cheap prices and do something I enjoy doing with the people I love.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets us apart is our amazing BBQ Sauce and rubs that are some of the best out there. We got to where we are because of passion, hardwork and amazing support from our BBQ family. 2020 could have been a lot better for us but the BBQ community from competition teams, to Facebook groups and Instagram helped us make it a big success. We have learned to appreciate the little things and not wonder what if. We want everyone to Get Hooked on Big Taste, Big Flavor, Big Salinas. We are a small business that provides BBQ and BBQ products from a family for a family.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Check out the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers stadiums. Enjoy some food and drinks at Texas live. Enjoy the fun of a BBQ cookoff on Friday and Saturday. Head up to Choctaw or winstar for some fun.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family for allowing me to do what I enjoy doing and supporting/pushing me to do great things. My BBQ family they have help spread the word about our amazing BBQ sauces and rubs.
