We had the good fortune of connecting with Rae Adams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rae, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
One of the most important decisions I made as a Spa Owner/Skin Therapist was selecting the perfect product brand to treat my client’s skin with. Rhonda Allison Skincare products has not only helped my clients skin achieve healthier skin but has changed a lot of my clients lives. Clients that thought they would never get rid of acne scarring or clients that has struggled with finding products healthy for their skin has had amazing results with the Skincare brand I have inside my treatment room. Rhonda Allison’s Skincare has contributed greatly to my Spa’s success.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m most excited about teaching others about the health of their skin. Skin cancer is real and take lives annually. Knowing how to protect your skin from sun damage is very important. Determination plays an important role in my business success. Being determined to create an success beauty business that not only helps to make others beautiful but one that impacts lives in a positive way. Being positive while building a business is not easy when starting out. It takes a lot of studying, practicing, and confidence to maintain and run an successful business. Lessons I learned along the way is that patience means everything. Being patient about your business growth, being patient about obtaining your expert skills, it all comes in due time. As long as your focused and driven by your business goals and growth as an professional the sky is the limit to the success you can achieve. I want the world to know that I love being an Esthetician and Skin Therapist and that Crowned Glo is here to stay.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would most definitely suggest a Relaxing Facial or Body Treatment at Crowned Glo Mini Spa in Southlake for some amazing Skin pampering and self-care. I would also suggest a great Lunch at LoLo’s Chicken and Waffles in Grapevine for some amazing Soul Food.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Husband has been an amazing support system for me. My Children for being so inspiring and loving. My Family deserves all the credit for my success. It’s because of them I work and strive to be the best I can be.
