Hi R. Phill & Geoff, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Never giving up and continue being open to learn and read new things.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We have e2 escape rooms in the DFW area. We are most proud of continually aspiring to succeed and looking forward to what the future holds. We were able to own 2 businesses by first having a dream. We then started preparing ourselves to be prepared for an opportunity that was fitting for us. Once we owned the first escape room to understand the business, we were presented with another escape room for sale. Owning a business has not been easy but it has been very rewarding in the fact that we have learned so much. We have learned to take advantage and explore every option that is presented to us. Having an open and flexible mindset gives us the ability to still have both escape rooms open even during the pandemic.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If our best friends were in town for a week, we would almost certainly visit our favorite (and somewhat nostalgic) restaurant… Pappadeaux. We would also have them visit our escape room to play a game or two and show them our business. We are really big into game night, so we would gather together at someone’s house to have a few laughs and a good time from playing Taboo, Gestures, Spades, Pictionary, or Mafia. If there are any major professional basketball or football games playing, then the guys would get together to watch them. We would also select a night to go out with our significant others on a date night where there might be a jazz band playing. If they were still here on Sunday, then we would go uptown to have a little “Sunday Funday”.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We want to dedicate our success to our family and friends. Together we have learned from experiences, pursued endeavors, and work so hard to put them in a better place and to be an example of what is possible.
