Meet Quadria Freeman | CEO of FramedByQ’: The Collection

We had the good fortune of connecting with Quadria Freeman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Quadria, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
In 2019, I had just lost my cousin, who was dear to me. Along with me losing him, I lost my job, and I wanted a different way to make another source of income. My mother always presented to me in college to sell eyewear on the side but that was not my main focus at the time. The idea was presented to me again by my sister, who I was staying with at the time. I buckled down and took this more seriously. I wanted everyone to feel confident and BOLD when they stepped out into the world. What better way to do that than to sell some banging eyewear and swimsuits. FramedByQ’: The Collection is made for anybody everywhere to feel fierce and fearless; ‘Framed’ essentially came from “body frame” and eyewear. Q’ is me, who I am confident and fearless, someone, who walks into a room and owns it. That’s how I want every customer to feel when they purchase from my business.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
FramedByQ’: The Collection is a fierce eyewear, swimwear and accessories line. This collection is essentially made for everyone to feel bold & confident when they step out into the world in their frames & swimwear. FramedByQ’: The Collection is more than a brand. It is a lifestyle, a moment. This collection is made for anybody anywhere to feel more confident than ever before. We offer fast shipping and handling, quality products that are long-lasting, and great quality customer service. This business has connected me to a lot of amazing people, I get a lot of recommendations from others in other states, and I could not be more proud.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my bestfriend comes to town for a week long trip, the first place we are going to have a nice meal at is Southside Steaks and Cakes to get some tasty wings and their famous philly-cheesesteaks. They have some of the best fresh food options you could desire as well as dessert such as funnel cakes which is a personal favorite of mine. For the night-life I would definitely go to Room 3606 for Dior Fridays hosted by Dave & the Cozy Team. They definitely know how to bring the crowd out and have a great time as well as the Amora Lounge on Saturday’s where they host Kiss Saturdays. They have nice music and great eats as well. And lastly, for brunch I would definitely recommend Tru’s Kitchen + Kocktails were they serve the best 5-star Chicken & Waffles as well as their tasty beverages.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First off I want to thank GOD for making this all happen. Secondly, I want to thank my family, friends, most importantly my brand ambassadors for supporting me and my business. They’ve been there for me even when I felt like I wasn’t doing enough, kept me on my toes when I did not feel my strongest. Being an entrepreneur definitely has a lot of ups and downs but they’ve made it worth it every step of the way, and I could not thank them enough for the unconditional love and support.
