We had the good fortune of connecting with Pasha Carter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pasha, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?

The most important factor behind my success is doing it for my family and with my family. My husband, Steve Carter, and I often have conversations with our children regarding entrepreneurship and leadership.

We realize that kids aren’t learning about wealth and financial literacy in today’s schools. Our kids are constantly expressing their interest in owning businesses, investing, and making a difference in the world. We thought there should be a way for aspiring business owners to learn from the best entrepreneurs in the world. I believe every child should know how to build a million-dollar business before they leave home.

One day after a family talk, I thought to myself… ‘Why not create a business media outlet that will provide actionable tips and strategies for entrepreneurs?’ That family talk over dinner sparked the creation of VIP Global Magazine.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

My husband and I, and our four kids, Jayla, Jasmine, Stephen II, and Justin, are the owners of the VIP Global Network and VIP Global Magazine.

We created VIP Global Magazine to provide business owners and entrepreneurs with a platform to learn, network, and shop in one place, no matter where they are in the world. The magazine is an online support system like no other because it shares highly sought-after advice and top-notch secrets from professionals who are giants in their industries.

The VIP Global Network is a group of entrepreneurs that share ideas, collaborations, and business ventures that create passive income. Today, our entrepreneurship trainings can be found at Forbes, Fortune 500 companies, and top Universities to name a few.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would head to Legacy West and enjoy the food and the atmosphere first. Then we would head over to The Star because there is something for everyone there. Lastly, we would go to Grandscape and catch a movie and walk around and enjoy the tremendously family-friendly environment.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The book that opened my eyes and pierced my soul is Think And Grow Rich: A Black Choice by Dr. Dennis P. Kimbro. I had read several books on leadership and wealth in my twenties prior to reading this book. The other books that I read taught me that wealth was possible, but Think And Grow Rich: A Black Choice showed me that it was possible for someone that looks like me. It made all the difference.
