We had the good fortune of connecting with Paige Fuoco and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paige, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Work-life balance is very important for both me personally and our company, Hoyden. As entrepreneurs and creatives, it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of work and allow it to consume every waking moment. However, I firmly believe that achieving a healthy work-life balance is essential for long-term success and overall well-being.

Over time, my perspective on work-life balance has evolved for the better. Nowadays, I approach work-life balance as a continuous journey rather than a fixed destination. It’s about making intentional choices and setting boundaries that allow me to excel professionally while also nurturing my personal life. By establishing clear priorities and allocating dedicated time for self-care, family, and hobbies, I’ve witnessed a significant transformation in my overall satisfaction and productivity.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

My career journey has been a dynamic and rewarding one, filled with growth, valuable experiences, and a deep sense of fulfillment. Joining the Hoyden team about six years ago was a pivotal moment for me as it aligned perfectly with my aspirations coming out of college. Since then, I have embraced various roles within the company, starting from a Marketing Specialist and progressing to become a Senior Brand Strategist.

While my professional path hasn’t been without its challenges, I attribute much of my progress to the exceptional team I work with and the awesome clients we serve. Collaborating with a talented group of individuals and being entrusted with diverse projects has enabled me to accelerate my growth and development within the industry.

Throughout my journey, I have learned the significance of finding the right clients who truly appreciate the value we bring. By aligning our expertise and skills with clients who understand and respect our work, we are able to create meaningful partnerships.

Along the way, I’ve learned that open and honest communication establishes a strong foundation of trust, enabling us to collaborate effectively and deliver outstanding outcomes. This allows us to build enduring partnerships with our clients based on mutual respect and shared objectives.

If you’re not passionate about your job, find a new one. Likewise, if you’re not respected in your role, it’s crucial to seek leaders who value your expertise and contributions. I frequently encounter friends and family who express dissatisfaction with their careers, and I always encourage them to reflect and take action. I feel incredibly fortunate to be in a role that I love, working with clients who inspire me, and being part of a supportive environment that nurtures my growth.

My career has been a remarkable journey marked by continuous learning and growth. I credit my progress to the exceptional team I work with, the lessons I’ve learned, and the commitment to work-life balance. Ultimately, I want the world to know that finding passion, respect, and fulfillment in your career is possible, and it’s worth pursuing.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I haven’t lived in this area for very long, so I have some exploring to do myself. That said, one of my favorite spots is Horrocks Farm Market – they have everything you could ever want, from fresh local goodies to awesome food trucks and a cool beer garden.

After visiting Horrocks, we’d enjoy the gorgeous trails around here – long walks, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the beautiful views. It’s the perfect way to relax, connect, and reset!

Though I don’t have many specific places to list as of now, I’m always on the lookout for good food/cocktails, and unique experiences to share with my friends and family!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe a great deal of my success to the guidance and mentorship provided by our CEO, Molly Mason. Her support has played a crucial role in shaping my professional journey and propelling me toward achievements I can truly be proud of.

What sets Molly apart is not just her knowledge and expertise but also her genuine care for the personal and professional growth of her team members. She invests the time to listen, understand our goals, and provide the necessary tools and resources to help us succeed. Her support and belief in my abilities have instilled in me a newfound confidence and a drive to continuously improve.

I am incredibly grateful for the mentorship Molly has provided over the years!
