Meet Natalie Adams-Bradley: Entrepreneur & Operations Manager

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Adams-Bradley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalie, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Comparison Is the Thief of Joy! This quote is a constant reminder not to compare yourself, your business, or accomplishments to others. In a world where social media is at the forefront, and people are sharing their achievements and triumphs, I believe people subconsciously compare themselves and fail to savor their own achievements because of a sense of inferiority. We must remember that we are all different people, doing the same things. Our God given gifts are what will make us stand out in a sea of similarity. “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them; if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;” (Rom. 12:6).
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have successfully been in business for 4 years now. I believe what sets me apart is my ability to continually connect to my target audience and provide a diverse merchandise collection. I have developed a large pool of suppliers which allows me to provide styles that are exclusive and rare. Additionally, I offer a wide range in regards to styles. If you are looking for simplicity, you can find it here, but I also offer bold statement pieces that are for the more adventurous fashionista. Currently, I am most excited about my plans to expand to a subscription box service. My sales analytics show that I have a high “return customer” rate. A large percentage of my customers continue to shop exclusively with me for their eye wear, so the idea of creating a subscription box service just make sense. With this new project I will offer quarterly subscription boxes for each season. For 39.99, the customer will receive a curated selection of sunglasses that are “on trend” for the upcoming season. I’m very excited about this new project and look forwarded to launching in Fall 2020. Although I have had a few hurdles along my business journey, I’m very grateful that I have been able to sustain. I attribute my sustainability to great customer service. Making sure I meet the needs of my customers and continuing to evolve and deliver the latest trends and fashions. Markets these days are extremely saturated, but reputable sustainable business are rare. If there is one thing that I want you to know about the Twenty103 brand, it’s that we can be trusted. Trust is the basis of any strong relationship, and I believe that includes business. I desire long term customers, who trust me and therefore continue to support my brand.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First stop lunch at Reunion Tower’s Cloud 9 Cafe. This is a great spot to check out great views of the city of Dallas and who doesn’t enjoy eating lunch while revolving at 360 degrees. Next up, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden the perfect place to capture social media worthy photos. Take out dinner from Aunt Irene’s Kitchen because everyone needs to experience that “Black Box”. Spa Castle for relaxation. Grapevine Mills Mall for the ultimate shopping experience. 4 THE CULTURE STUDIOS to check out local artist. Dallas African American Museum. Local boutique shopping at Guns and Roses. Soul food lunch at Sweet Georgia Brown’s.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Cliché as it may be, I must dedicate my shoutout to my parents. They raised me to be independent and instilled some very important values in me that I believe contribute to my success. Work ethic, life skills, perspective, and most importantly love were all valued morals in our household, these morals all play an important role in business. Additionally, my husband’s support has tremendously impacted my business in a positive way. From the very beginning he never questioned my decision to invest in myself or my business and that in itself was encouragement. To know that he believes that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to is powerful. I will definitely give notable mention to my “E-Mentor” Jesseca Dupart. Her “Judy Dropping Knowledge” course helped me gain insight on the importance of leveraging social media and not being afraid to “put yourself out there’ in order to increase brand visibility.
