We had the good fortune of connecting with Minh Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Minh, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
Drifting makes us happy! There are few sports in the world where a bromance of boys can be fully in sync. A roller coaster of vibes sends us on journeys as a group from one adventure to the other. Similar to football where every player executes the play perfectly, synchronized diving that almost looks like a deja vu, or even bombing a hill with your skateboarding buds. This automotive tandem dance transcends us to another dimension of being in tune with each other and pushing our machines to the absolute limit. The ultimate roller coaster thrill ride!

Afterward, the party commences with high fives, brews, camp fires and sometimes even extended adventures when we get the chance to leave the state for automotive festivals or matsuris.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’ve had many challenges and continue to adapt our business to not only support the community but also to keep enjoying what we do.

As drifting is seasonal, overcoming the off-season was the most difficult part of running a custom tuning shop. We decided to adapt by focusing more on being the life of the party! We will be focusing on creating products, gaming, hosting events, drift lessons, and creating content for people to enjoy. More pop up focused on customers and way less car building.

Another difficulty was the loss of drifting venues in the Dallas-Ft Worth area. Drifting isnt super huge here so not having a place to drift is still the biggest challenge.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Deep Ellum for sure Terry Blacks BBQ
Deep ellum art co
Dentons bar scene
Streets at Legacy
Ft Worth stockyards of course
Arlingtons stadium areas
And definetly some lake days
Gotta do boat things
Gun Ranges
Axe throwing

Fuel city tacos
more and more bbq

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Aaron Losey, for everything he has done for the drifting community for decades! From Street Legal to Driftweek he is constantly pushing the bounds of the sport with the mindset of developing drivers to focus on having fun!
