We had the good fortune of connecting with Mike Sullivan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mike, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Without doubt the biggest factor in our success in Paw Lofts is the amazing team of great people who work here.
What should our readers know about your business?
At Paw Lofts we pride ourselves at being the place where every one of our furry guests are not just clients, they are all part of the Paw Lofts family, and are all treated like that, we don’t mind pets, we mind fur babies.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Dallas has some of the best bars and restaurants in the US, and Anne Marie and I love going out. When we have family and friends visit us from Ireland our go to places are White Rock Lake, the rodeo in Fort Worth and theJFK museum are all a must see, and our favorite restaurants and bars are St Martins Bistro on Greenville Ave, amazing, food, atmosphere, and Mona the owner along with her team make everyone feels special, Cowboy Red River is a must for a fun night out, and for a real Texas experience, we also enjoy the piano bar in Deep Ellie as well.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have always been fortunate to have amazing women in my life, the person who definitely had the biggest influence on me was my mother, she taught me to respect everyone, work hard and to believe that anything was possible if i put my mind to it. The second woman who has had a huge influence on me is my amazing wife Anne Marie, she has always backed me whatever idea I have chased and is my go to person when I need to figure anything out, because she has an innate sense of what the right thing to do is. Finally the last women who I have been very blessed to meet is Laury McConnell my friend and GM in Paw Lofts as she is without doubt the best person I have ever worked with, and she is one of best managers I have ever met, leading our team while making sure everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
