We had the good fortune of connecting with Mika & N’Dia Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mika & N’Dia Rose, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I listen to podcast often. I also have always been into radio/tv. It took me a while to find the right person to do it with, but I finally found my perfect match in Mika.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What’s sets us apart is our dynamic, life experiences, and personalities. We got to where we are by simply taking a step. We are still very much so growing and learning. Literally it’s taking the step. Yes it easy to start, is it easy to stay consistent? No. Is it easy to gain followers? No. Consistency is key, don’t think about being perfect or buying all this special equipment, just start. We want world to know that happiness is always there even in the midst of trauma. If you have a desire to do something do it. Your have the power over your life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Downtown. Specifically deep ellum. Great eats, drinks, love music at 413 in Lewisville. Dancing at hero’s lounge for more of a dance hall vibe, and great Caribbean. Bitter Ends is a great place all week especially on Sundays.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our Mothers. We both have lost our mothers and they deserve all the credit.
