We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Anthony and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
A favorite quote of mine comes from the lore of William the Conqueror when landing on the beaches of England he commanded his army to burn all their ships for their only option was to succeed. This quote resonates with me because I believe to achieve the highest heights of your dreams you must give yourself fully to your passion.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey has just begun and I am excited to share with the world all of my creations and ideas. A lesson I am working on is staying concentrated on singular ideas and working with them to full fruition without getting excited about something new and moving onwards without finishing the last project.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would bring my friend to Reata’s in Downtown Forth to eat and a few blocks over to Scat Jazz Lounge to experience their fine absinthe. Beyond this we would have our time full driving around the State meeting interesting collectors and acquiring new art & antiques for the Gallery.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My dedication goes to all the artists in the world from past, present, and future for taking the time to turn their emotions, thoughts, and experiences into physical representations that are shared with the world to inspire, teach, and bring light & beauty into all of our lives. Every wall deserves a painting and without artists we would be in a world of blank walls!
