We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Alban and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Cheetahs are the ultimate predator equipped with hunting prowess, speed and other predatory gifts. Despite this, the cheetah misses its prey nine out of ten times. Can you imagine what would happen to the cheetah if after the ninth time it sat under a tree and exclaimed: “Screw this, I am becoming a vegetarian!” A cheetah never starves, it may go through a few days without food, it may become leaner and it may have to leave its hunting ground for new territory in search of prey. It knows it has only one option, it must continue to hunt if it wants to stay alive. Cheetahs never feel “rejected” or go into a state of depression or self-pity. When they start hunting they always expect to succeed no matter how many times they did not succeed in the past. That is the very same characteristic the top performers in any industry share, they always expect to succeed, no matter how many times they have failed before. The best of the best in any industry share this “pathological optimism”. They simply have an inability to conceive defeat. Time and time again entrepreneurs hit roadblocks and speed bumps. You will start to wonder why you ever decided to start your business but you know what, if you endure you will triumph.

C.O.B.R.A.™ was created by combing real experience in law enforcement, corrections, multiple combative systems, and military advisement, and is structured in a way so anyone can learn how to effectively defend themselves.
