We had the good fortune of connecting with Miah + Chloe Design Co. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Miah + Chloe Design Co., what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
For both of us, creativity has always been more than a hobby, it’s a way of thinking, problem-solving, and connecting with others. We were drawn to a creative career because we saw how much impact design and organization can have on daily life. For Miah, designing beautiful, inviting spaces is a way to tell a story and evoke emotion. For Chloe, creating function and flow is her form of artistry, bringing calm and order to everyday chaos. Miah + Chloe Design Co. was born out of our shared passion to transform homes into spaces that are not only visually stunning but truly work for the people who live in them.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Our journey with Miah + Chloe Design Co. has been anything but linear, and that’s part of what makes it so meaningful. We come from different creative backgrounds, but what united us was a shared passion for intentional design, storytelling through space, and helping people feel more connected to their environments.

What sets us apart is our blend of artistry and functionality. We don’t just design beautiful spaces, we design spaces that reflect who our clients are, how they live, and what they value. Every project is deeply collaborative, and we’re proud to bring a personalized, heart-led approach to every detail.

Getting here wasn’t always easy. Building a brand from the ground up takes resilience, faith, and a willingness to grow through the uncomfortable moments. We faced challenges like learning how to scale while maintaining quality, navigating imposter syndrome, and staying grounded during seasons of uncertainty. But each hurdle taught us something essential. We learned the importance of boundaries and balance, the power of community, and how to trust our instincts even when the path felt unclear.

One of the things we’re most proud of is the way Miah + Chloe Design Co. has stayed true to its core. We focus on creating with intention, designing with love, and honoring the people behind the spaces. We’re excited about expanding our offerings, collaborating with other creatives, and continuing to bring beauty and thoughtfulness into everyday life.

At the heart of it, we want people to know that Miah + Chloe Design Co. is more than just a design business. It’s a reflection of purpose, partnership, and passion. It’s a reminder that when you lead with authenticity and care, you create something that truly resonates.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’re still new to the Dallas–Fort Worth area, but we’ve already found so many favorite spots that we’d love to share with any friend visiting for the week. Our perfect itinerary would mix great food, drinks, shopping, and a little local culture.

Day 1 – Welcome to Dallas
We’d start the trip with coffee at La La Land Kind Café. Their coffee is always a great way to start the day. Then we’d head to NorthPark Center for some shopping and lunch at Eataly. It’s one of our favorite spots for pasta, wine, and Italian desserts. Later, we’d take a walk on Katy Trail and have dinner at Las Palmas for delicious food and strong margaritas.

Day 2 – Game Day and Good Food
Depending on the season, we’d plan for a Dallas Mavericks game at the American Airlines Center or head out to Arlington to catch the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field. Before the action kicks off, we’d fuel up with classic Texas barbecue at Hard Eight—they’ve got the best brisket around.

Day 3 – Fort Worth Fun
A day in Fort Worth is always a must. We’d explore the Stockyards, pop into Billy Bob’s for some true Texas fun, and stroll through the shops. Lunch would be on the patio at Joe T. Garcia’s, one of our all-time favorites.

Day 4 – Golf and Local Energy
We’d spend the morning golfing at Tangle Ridge Golf Club, then head to Mi Cocina for lunch. Later, we’d visit the SMU campus to catch a game if one’s happening or just enjoy the energy in the area. Dinner would be something relaxed, maybe burgers and milkshakes at Slider & Blues.

Day 5 – Design, Drinks, and Exploring
We’d use this day to explore local design and home shops, maybe around the Knox-Henderson or Bishop Arts area. We’d visit some of our favorite boutiques and grab lunch nearby. That night, we’d head downtown to enjoy the scene and get drinks before heading to The Ball, one of our favorite spots with an unforgettable view and vibe.

Day 6 – Local Events and Classic Dallas
The Texas State Fair is a must for fried treats, Big Tex, and iconic photo ops. If not, we’d kick things off with bagels from Shug’s and then explore one of Dallas’s standout shopping spots like Highland Park Village or the Design District. To close out the day, we’d raise a glass, soak in the good vibes, and toast to an unforgettable visit with great company.

Day 7 – Farewell with Favorites
We’ll keep it casual with a morning coffee from White Rhino Coffee, followed by a relaxed wander through the Dallas Farmers Market to soak in the vibrant atmosphere and local flavors. For lunch, we’ll swing by Eatzi’s for a bite that’s both delicious and distinctly Dallas.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! We wouldn’t be where we are today without the incredible support system that’s surrounded us from day one. First and foremost, we want to give a heartfelt shoutout to our families and close friends, their unwavering belief in us, even when things were uncertain, gave us the confidence to keep pushing forward.

We also want to recognize the local creative and small business community, the collaboration, encouragement, and shared wisdom we’ve experienced has been a game-changer. Being part of a network that genuinely wants to see each other thrive is something we don’t take for granted.

At the end of the day, success is never a solo journey, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who’s helped shape ours.
