We had the good fortune of connecting with Mayowa Balogun and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mayowa, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I always say it’s consistency. People have to be able to identify you with your brand Ana’s that comes from being consistently intentional. You also need to be consistent to be successful, so it’s definitely consistency

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a music business executive, you’re not around a lot of honest people who are looking to build with clients. The industry is full of people that are after clout and unearned success, I think what stands me and my company apart is that at the core of our business is the personal relationships and the emotional investment we put in our clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Because I’m a Nigerian, I have to take them to a place called “Aso Rock.” Definitely. I also really love Texas Roadhouse, I don’t think I can ever get enough of it. When we aren’t in the middle of a pandemic, checking out a Cowboys or Mavs game is always a great idea.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely my parents, my mum most specifically. My very close friends as well. Without that foundation, I don’t think I’d be in the position to do anything
