We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark Ramirez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mark, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
In search for a career that utilizes my creativity and artistic mind. I used to be a musician and always had a passion for expressing myself through my art.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When I was younger I would daydream of music video and movie ideas that I would like to make. I couldn’t fathom the idea of it happening because I didn’t have the resources or education to implement these ideas. But recently, my friend introduced me to the DJI Mavic drone and I was amazed by the videos he was able to make and how affordable it was. So I decided to save money and get my own as this could be a way I could make intricate videos and share with others. Through endless studying and obsession, I’ve ventured into expanding the drone with a Canon camera as it was a way to make videos more personal and emotional.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Dallas and eat at The Woolworth and then venture to Deep Ellum as it has tons of music and eclectic bars to enjoy. Then we could visit Fort Worth and eat at Joe T. Garcia’s before seeing the Stock Yards.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My daughter has always sparked the artist in me through her own ventures and passion for her work. In the past, I would set a goal to continuously motivate her through my own work.
