We had the good fortune of connecting with MARIA & EDUARDO JR JARAMILLO and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi MARIA & EDUARDO JR, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Work for myself instead for someone else.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
It all started with my coordinating business MJ EVENTS & DECOR. At several events I was asked if we owned a catering business. After turning down so many chances, one day my husband Eduardo Jr was on the grill & it came to my mind he is always on the grill & always taking over at family events why not start a catering business. We took the next step & that is when PINCHE SMOKERZ TEX-MEX BBQ LLC made it official Sept 2019!! We then started shopping around for a smoker. We joined a group on Facebook called (DA PIT IS LIT owner David Camacho) following this group we finally found someone who was able to do a custom smoker for us (A&D Custom Pits owners Omar Bustos & his beautiful wife may she RIP Diana Gonzalez) they went above & beyond to make sure we had the perfect smoker & they did that plus more. Once we received our smoker, we also found an amazing spice company (Dos Pendejos Spice Co) & let me tell you their spices are like no other!! MUST TRY!! We started to sale plates every weekend & all we can say is once we saw our customers do that special dance when tasting our food, we knew we did an amazing job!! One day I requested a private group on Facebook named (DFW GIRL PLUG owner Florina Perales) this amazing group is where you can get help on anything you can think of. One day Florina posted a flyer of DFW GIRL PLUG HOLIDAY EXPO 2020, not knowing what we were getting ourselves into I told my husband Eduardo let’s give it a try to see how it goes. We attended the EXPO & WE SOLD OUT had people coming back for 2nds!! After so many shared flyers on social media the recommendations, the Pop Ups, the events, & the expo’s we now know so many amazing people who enjoy our food!! WE THANK GOD 1st for Blessing us with this amazing opportunity! PINCHE SMOKERZ would like to give a BIG THANK YOU to all of our Family, Friends, & supporters for all the love & support without you guys we would be nothing!! It’s been a challenge for sure! We make sure that NO MATTER what comes our way we keep our head up high , most important PRAY & stay positive at all times is the only way you can make it a long way!

Pinche Smokerz Tex-Mex BBQ LLC offers any holiday parties, anniversaries, birthday parties, company banquets, baptisms, weddings or any other events. We can accommodate a large group of people as well personalized menus along other special touches and take pride in making sure your experience is memorable!! Pinche Smokerz offers smoked BBQ, JUMBO potatoes, ribs, pulled pork, brisket hot Cheetos corn cups, fall off the bone turkey legs & much more. Our food is so good that having returning customers is what makes us proud! Pinche Smokerz is far apart from others being that all of our food is homemade with a special touch!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First I would let them know about our friends’ small business food and places so they can try them out and take the word back to their hometown. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!
