We had the good fortune of connecting with Maria C. Aldana and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Maria C., is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
There is one important factor behind Atelier’s success, and that is family. This project exists today thanks to the support I have received from them since day one. I always like to think of this company as a family business because that’s what we have become, and I am proud of it.
What should our readers know about your business?
Atelier Events is a Texas-based company that offers event planning and design services, as well as, event decor and balloon installs. We are the result of more than 10 years growing involved in the hospitality and events industry around the world. We want to make a difference by offering our clients a smooth and enjoyable experience while bringing to reality the events of their dreams and to make this possible we use all graphic and design tools to display a visual and clear idea of what we will deliver at the end. We have learned that the key of our business is how open we are to celebrate our differences in terms of cultures, lifestyle, languages, etc. This makes it easier for us to understand our clients and create memorable events for them.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One thing I love the most about living in the DFW is the diversity we experience day by day. To start, I love going for brunch to XOXO in Dallas, it has beautiful spots for pictures and it is my number one place for girls time. Also, one of my favorite restaurants is Lima Taverna in Plano. I always recommend this place as it has the best Peruvian food in town. Another super gorgeous place to visit is Dallas Arboretum, specially now for Christmas time, it is the best place for hot chocolate and family/friends time. And if you want to have some drinks and fun at night, you have to visit La Santa nightclub in downtown Dallas.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate this to my husband and my son. They are the motor of my life and inspire me to become a better version of myself daily, and that includes my professional career.
