We had the good fortune of connecting with Malysa Le and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Malysa, how do you think about risk?
If you don’t take the risk, you can risk everything. I’ve taken risk my entire life. I’ve risk leaving my comfort zone, my time and my sleep and people to get to where I am now. What I have come to learn is that risks don’t always have to be grand, they just have to be a stretch beyond your comfort zone. You have to bet on yourself and put your feet all in when it comes to being an entrepreneur– in the end, what risk you take somethings comes with bigger rewards.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Panya Fabricate Welding and Machine was a family business that fell into my lap and I ended up purchasing and buying my father out and retiring both him and my mother at age 54. I fell in love with the industry. Being able to create an idea or find a solution for my clients is what I am most proud of. Being able to get manufactured material and create an end product that is so beautifully constructed. Aside from my fabrication business, I also own a General Construction Company, AG Fair Granite, Rede Neon Light Company, A&M Fabrication and Performance, KKAL Investment Group, Hole it up 16 Ounces Cornhole Apparel, Melbourne CDB, Knox & Henderson Hotel Supply and Furniture Procurement, Maly Marketing and Promotion Agency, SP Tax Preparation Services, Quantum Computing Services– each of these businesses, I learned all the trades and in and outs of and fell into the industry because I love being able to find solutions and learning something new everyday. My biggest challenge was not knowing anything about any industry. I ended up taking a risk and just basically investing my time to learn and be more knowledgable and be the woman of all trades. What a lot of people don’t know is that, I am very hands on with all my businesses. I will work just as hard and you will see me doing labor along side with any of my team members because I believe in creating a family environment where my team knows that in order for my dream to work, it takes team work.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Father, Jose Panyanouvong is a person I have to recognize. Although he is no longer with me.. He was my mentor and always the one who pushed me. My Father was always so proud of everything I did and all my business ventures. My Family always encouraged me and supported me and stuck by me every step of the way. Most importantly all my friends, family, and clients. They’ve always trusted me as well as referred me to those they knew, I honestly wouldn’t be where I am if it weren’t for those around me who believed in me.
