We had the good fortune of connecting with Madie Conn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Madie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Telling a story. There are so many brands that miss this vital piece to the puzzle. A question that ask myself often is: “What story are you telling?”. As a social media marketing company, we have to not only think about this question for ourselves, but for the brands that we work with. Whether we realize it or not, we as consumers show up on social media to receive information that benefits us, not so much others. So, as the brand, our messaging and content MUST be consumer focused, making the consumer the point of focus. At Serene, we hone in on telling a brands story – through clear messaging, beautiful content and creativity that is nearly unmatched.

What should our readers know about your business?
Serene Digital Studio is a digital marketing team that is passionate about creating with intention tailored to a brand’s vision. We take social strategy and a brands story then mesh the two to create a beautiful place on social for others to land on. Our à la carte approach allows you to decide which of our services best fits the brand’s needs. We are based in Dallas, TX but have clients all over the map.

What sets Serene apart is the attention to detail and vision – we CARE about our clients. We treat their social page as if it’s our own. We create a Serene experience (literally) for each brands vision through a digital media platforms.

I started Serene based off of a gap in the market – there are SO many incredible digital marketing agencies out there but there seems to be massive missing components. Creating a consistent aesthetic while meshing that with telling a meaningful story, is hard to find. Solving this problem is what made launching Serene a no brainer. Each day is different, some hard and some a breeze, but I genuinely wouldn’t trade any of it for the world!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Friday night happy hour: Somewhere in HPV. Maybe Honor Bar or Lounge 31. Love a good Highland Park Hang.
Friday night dinner: Uchiba or Uchi. I’m a huge sushi lover so when I’m trying to go “all out” this is my spot!

Saturday hangs: White Rock Lake walk and then hang out in Bishop Arts.
Saturday happy hour: For SURE Revelers Hall. I love everything about the live Jazz and quaint feeling of the bar.
Saturday Dinner: Hudson House every time!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Serene would not be where it is today without the MAJOR support of my husband, Trevor, family, mentors and previous bosses along the way. I feel fortunate enough to have had success spoken into my life and my career since day one. By the grace of God, I’ve been able to create my dream business and run with it.
