We had the good fortune of connecting with Luna 5800 and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Luna, why did you pursue a creative career?
I made the decision to start doing music to pick up where my cousin Jaden left It when he passed in 2021.. when i put the headphones on and the beat come on i am mentally in a different world, i am at peace! I am in a world with all my fallen love ones and with doing music i get to express myself how i want, i get to be me all the way with music that’s why i love doing music because It allows you to do so.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is different from others because it’s about my life, i aim to make you visualize the picture I am painting with my music. I am excited for y’all to hear my new music, new projects and new videos. This journey is not the easy one, it’ll really show you from real and fake., it’ll show you the real love people have for you and It will show you the opposite of that and that’ is the fake love. You really have to be mentally strong and also emotionally strong for this journey because It will be the ones closes to you that’ll envy you and the entire time you was working and doing this for y’all to shine together, I’m getting through this a lot better now because I’ve accepted and let God do his work. The main lesson i e learned since i started doing music is you’re not going to please everybody and you can not take everybody with you when you’re growing. I work hard for everything i am doing and praying to get blessed for everything I’m working towards, 5800 is here to stay.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
God and my people that’s been there supporting me through this journey to many to name they know who they are, everybody has helped in different ways shoutout to them, shoutout to the people that hate on me to i wouldn’t go so hard if It wasn’t any negativity against me so shoutout to y’all to it’s all love.
