We had the good fortune of connecting with Lucia Macias and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lucia, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
That all dreams come true when you stay committed to them, you can go as far as you want. I feel very proud of what I do.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My mission is to promote our Mexican culture by raising awareness of our mexican culture, promoting the mexican crafts made by our wonderful artisans, who leave their heart and soul on every and each pieces they make. It fills my heart with pride when I see how people value their work.
The road has not been easy with a lot of ups and downs but always with the desire to keep moving forward with my dreams and never given up. I am so proud to show the word our culture through out mexican crafts and to make know a little more about our people.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First I would take my friend to see downtown Dallas, we would go to the Aquarium and have lunch at a restaurant in Deep Ellum, later we would go skating at Galleria Mall and do some shopping, I would also like to take him to see Fort Worth Stockyards and eat a delicious hamburger other places that I love to visit is The Dallas Arboretum and finally some of the places where we would go for dinner would be in Legacy West or Grandescape
