We had the good fortune of connecting with Lindsay Blair and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lindsay, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I launched my journey as a stay at home mom customizing denim bling jackets for cheer moms as a way to bring in extra income and help cover the bills. It was a simple idea rooted in creativity and necessity— turning a side hustle into something meaningful for my family.

What should our readers know about your business?
There are definitely highs and lows in running a small business, especially as a single mom when it’s just me. Some months are great. And others are incredible slow— and those slow periods can be really disheartening. It’s not easy, but I keep going because I believe in what I’m building and the people I serve. Helping my customers bring their vision to life through carefully curated, personalized products is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. It helps inspire me to keep going during those slow months. I want people to know that I have a passion for creating one of a kind pieces for women and children. It brings me joy that I get to combine doing something I love while empowering women and it’s helped keep my passion while going through hard times.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would first start with a workout at Lindsey Kay Fitness, then I would go to Main St. in Grapevine and get lunch and a margarita at Esparza’s. After that I would head over to Saddlerock in Ft. Worth to enjoy beautiful views and a glass of wine.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My daughter was the inspiration behind my business. It started when I was a stay at home mom, now I’m a single mom and Korra, my daughter is my driving force. Fueled by love for my daughter— my inspiration, my reason, my why. She means everything to me and is the reason I show up and work hard every day.
