Meet Leya Allo | Graphic Designer & Easter bunny

We had the good fortune of connecting with Leya Allo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leya, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
So this all started in 2019 around October. My mom and I were driving to the grocery store and found a bunny costumes on the side of the road. It was in mint condition, still in the box! I told my mom to pull over so I could grab it. And she asked what are you going to do with that?? My immediate thought was that I could put the costume on during Easter time for my little cousins… But then COVID/quarantine messed that whole idea up! No one was having any easter celebrations.
So during the quarantine I decided to buy a easter bunny costume online for my sister to wear. So that way the following Easter (2021) we could hopefully go to different houses and hop around families yards so the kids could watch through the windows.
And thats exactly what we did!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My family has always been creative. And my parents raised my sister and I to always think outside of the box. And to always shoot for anything we set our minds to

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Our favorite spots in the city:
Taqueria La Ventana – Addison: such a fun place to chill and vibe at
Cinnaholic – Richardson: best cinnamon rolls and theyre vegan!!
Kyde Warren Park is amazing spot to hang out! Watching all the dogs is do fun

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would definitely like to thank my mom and sister for going along with my crazy ideas. They went 100% along with us starting an Easter bunny side gig! My sister is actually a senior this year and has been in theater since she was 10 years old! So this was right up her alley.
