We had the good fortune of connecting with Lee Trowbridge and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lee, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risks in my career have always been very calculated. I am a contingency planner by nature, so before I make a decision, I have ten back-up plans, even if they are just in my head. I don’t make any moves or decisions without extensive research, and have learned over the years to trust my gut. With all of that lead-up, by the time I make the jump, I feel prepared.

What should our readers know about your business?
When I first started in Real Estate, I made myself a promise to not be half-in while I was growing my business. When I didn’t have Clients, I filled my calendar with Classes and Open Houses. When I did get Clients, the classes and real time interactions prepared me for their questions and concerns. I consider my personal brand to be based in knowledge and integrity. To date, I have taken over 200+ hours of “extra” classes, many of them based in contract knowledge. Real Estate, specifically the Buying process, is often stressful, and can be confusing. We use vocabulary that isn’t used anywhere else in our life. I want my Clients to feel transparent through the process, and safe in my knowledge and guidance whether we are buying, or selling.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Dallas has so much to explore! I love to eat great food and drink great drinks. All major events (birthdays, anniversaries., etc) begin with an Almond Croissant at Boulangerie. When my husband and I love to travel, and seek out Almond Croissants whereever we are. We have really had one better than Boulangerie. The Farmers Market keeps getting cooler. I would go there as well, making sure to stop through The Shed. There is a Sandwich at Scardello, in The Shed, with fig and prosciutto, that is amazing. From there I would jump over to White Rock Lake for a long walk, before heading to the Arboretum. Dinner would be a toss-up between Homewood, or Boulevardier. Pop-ins to Dude Sweet Chocolate, Legacy Hall, and so many more, too. Depending on the time of year, I would also take them through The State Fair, a Cowboys Game, or Chefs for Farmers in November. We would definitely need a day or two in Fort Worth as well, with the Zoo and Billy Bob’s as must-sees.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Husband, Ben, has been 100% supportive of my career and business growth. I made a huge pivot several years ago to Real Estate. There was no guarantee of success, but with his support, the business gained momentum and has continued to improve every year. He even got his license to help me when I need it. My Brokerage, Rogers Healy and Associates, also changed the game for me. Our training program and the support I receive from the office team is unparalleled.
