We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren Stack and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lauren, we’d love to hear about a book that’s had an impact on you.
My husband and I read a book by our pastor Robert Morris 4 years ago called, “The Blessed Life”. After we applied the biblical principles in the book to our finances, we watched God work in us and through us in a new way in every aspect of our lives. If you know us personally, we have probably told you about the book and strongly believe that everyone can benefit greatly from this read!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My husband and I work in multiple facets as entrepreneurs. We own an independent mineral acquisitions company, flower shop, rental properties and are silent partners in other service industry businesses. We know that we are stewards of what God places in our hands. We submit all of our life to the Lord and our businesses are no different. We also have learned through trial and error how important working with likeminded people is. We surround ourselves with Godly, wise and hardworking people. We want the world to know that without wise leadership and submission to the Lord, we wouldn’t be where we are today!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, this is a fun question! We LOVE Frisco, Texas and being neighbors with Dallas, Texas! We would start by staying at the Omni at The Star. We love eating on the patio at Neighborhood Services overlooking the Dallas Cowboys state of the art practice facility. The next day we would go shopping at Legacy West and have lunch at True Food Kitchen or Toulouse. We would walk the gardens at the Dallas Arboretum in the afternoon, visit the original Neiman Marcus and have dinner at Javier’s. The following day we would stop by the Frisco Farmers Market and have brunch at Bonnie Ruth’s Cafe. In Fall we would go to the Texas State Fair or one of the many pumpkin patches. In Spring we would go out to the lake or go to the hiking trails at Arbor Hills to enjoy nature. That evening we would enjoy dinner at Mi Cocina. We love that Frisco and Dallas offer a balance of nature and city!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
