Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Professionally I am a Certified Medical Assistant and I currently do Quality Control for a Medicare Advantage company. As a child, I wanted to be in the medical field. The human body was always interesting and fun to learn about! I have been a CMA for nearly 18 years and counting. I currently work from home most days and thankfully this has allowed me time and energy to focus on my brand. Yes, I do my work (LOL), but I don’t have to worry about the workload, traffic, cooking dinner and then finally working on my craft! I know there are many others that don’t have this advantage, so I am very thankful for the position God has placed me in.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A good girl’s trip in Fort Worth would consist of strolling around Downtown Fort Worth. There are some hidden jewels and historical markers to read and see in the area. Hanging out at the different bars and dance spots in the 7th Street area. Of course, we can’t be in the area and not eat at Velvet Taco. Spending some time in the Escape Room to get our minds going. A fancy dinner night could be at Eddie V’s or Texas DeBrazil. Then you can’t come to Fort Worth and not hang out in the Stockyards area and eat at Riscky’s BBQ.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I definitely have to dedicate this article to my husband and son. Without their support, I could not continue building my brand!! Most importantly I want to thank God publicly for what he is doing privately. There are times when I want to give up, but he brings me to my office, my happy place, and gives me a little creativity to put on a tumbler. I am not where I want to be creative-wise, but I am on my way!!
