We had the good fortune of connecting with Krystel Petite and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krystel, how do you think about risk?
Whenever people hear the word risk people have two thoughts behind it. One is omg no! They immediately feel fear and the other side of people jump right in. I personally think you should go all in. In life you shouldn’t always live by taking the backseat. In my career I wouldn’t have made it to where I am by not taking risk. I took a risk to leave my job. I took a risk to be a business owner. With taking risk their will be bumps in the road, however when you overcome them, it makes the risk so worthwhile. Never live on the end of fear because you will never experience life to the fullest extent.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Penthouse Beaute Studio is a Waxing Studio that I have put my passion and hard work in. We cater to all genders and our goal is to make people feel empowered and educated when they enter and leave our establishment. I started Penthouse Beaute Studio from the ground up with little knowledge on how to run a business. There as definitely been learning experiences along the way with back-office work, customer experience, and marketing but it has made me a better business owner. With each passing day we grow into a business that can break boundaries in the beauty industry.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When I do go out and explore Dallas, I like to visit Deep Ellum, Addison Area or a Daiquiri place for good drinks. I love finding new black owned restaurants like DJ steak house, Bell’s Sweet Factory, Js International Grill and many more the list is so long. If I am not eating or drinking, then exploring different events like Trap Karaoke, cooking classes or Adult Skate is always something new and fun.
