Meet Krystal Wagner | Cosmetologist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Krystal Wagner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krystal, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When the thought of first starting a business ran across my mind, i really didn’t know where I was going with that thought process. With starting a business, not only do you have to know what type of business you want, but also you need to know who it could benefit and I why. So many good and bad thoughts ran through my mind but I could not let it discourage me from doing exactly what I wanted. I knew for sure I wanted to be my own Boss, I knew I wanted to be able to control My own narrative. I wanted to be able to do what I love and still be there for my son 100% meaning, I could make my own schedule. Starting a business is not easy but so far it has been worth it. I knew exactly what type of business I wanted to start but I just didn’t know how. I also know that one business venture could lead to another so I said to myself, “why not?” For starters, I had to change my mindset. I needed to show consistency. Showing consistency was not hard because my career choice is in fact what I want to do in life. I eventually started investing in myself it worked In my favorite. I want to use this career to open up more opportunities in the cosmetology world and hopefully help any and everyone I possibly can. Starting my own business was the best decision I’ve ever made. Good and bad, I’m here for it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a licensed cosmetologist who loves to do a little bit of everything, what I enjoy the most is to boost the feeling of every single person that sits in my chair or that I come across generally. I love to express my creativity through hairstyles such as extensions or weaving services , natural hair services, custom Wig orders, all type of locs services, kids services, color services, etc.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had to choose somewhere in the city to enjoy myself, I would choose a down to Earth spot in between uptown and deep Ellum( downtown dallas). I love to eat and try new foods but I love a better vibes with good music even more.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When I think about my support system, these are the people that I appreciate the most. From my mother, to my Son and his Father, all family and friends. I am thankful for the love, the support, the likes, shares, word of mouth, and actually investing. I am most Thankful and no amount of words could explain this. Every single one of you guys deserve recognition for the way you support me to highest degree. My mother and Son’s Father has sacrificed the most out of their day to day lives just to make sure that I am good in every aspect. I want to give a special thanks to Ogle Cosmetology School which also helped me pave this way and allowed me the opportunity to learn, graduate, and excel.
