We had the good fortune of connecting with Kim Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kim, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
God first. Period. If we can put the world, our problems…ourselves aside, then everything else falls into place. My team and I take great pride in putting God first in our businesses. We pray for our clients and trust the process He has for them when it comes to buying and selling a home. We control nothing in this world or in this crazy real estate market… our team mission statement is:
To Glorify God by putting our client’s needs above our own and providing the highest level of honesty and expertise.
Our team Vision Statement is:
To improve the lives to all we serve by giving back to our community and by being the exception…rising above all things to exceed their expectations!
Core Values:
Build Lasting Relationships
Give Back
Quick Response Time
Rise Above
Exceed Their Expectations
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My team started October 16, 2019. I have had 5-7 members off and on. I love being a team lead to the Kim Taylor Real Estate Group! I love teaching and mentoring them to be the best agents they can be! I learned early on in 2016 how to win a deal in multiple offer situations. I try to teach everyone on my team how to “win a deal!” Knowing how to communicate and how to write a good offer is a must in this business. We have been a top producing team within JPAR from day one, from The Top 100, The Chairman’s Club in 2020 for the Top 1% GCI, Double Diamond Status in 2020 and Leaderboard Numbers monthly! My personal accolades include Tarrant Real Producers Top 500 agents in 2020, 360 West Top Producer in 2019 and 2020, Nomination for Best Realtor in 76262 and recently I added a Broker license in the mix! I am also currently a Mentor within JPAR.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh goodness, well we would connect over lunch. Spend several hours drinking a few martinis at maybe Craft & Vine on Oak St. in Roanoke catching up. Run home for a quick unwind/possible nap, before heading to maybe Perry’s Steakhouse for an awesome dinner! I am all about connecting with people!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I could not have done this without the little push from my husband Gordon. We have been married 33 years this November, so he knows me well! I am a creature of habit and don’t love change, but. I have learned in real estate that the only thing constant in life … is Change!!! 🙂 We were both working in oil & gas when we noticed more closed door meetings. I knew there was a possibility I could be laid off so when I texted him, he said “You need to get your Real Estate License”! I said Yes, got signed up and knocked it out! I had decorated and staged off and on over a 20 year period all over the Metroplex so obviously I knew parts of the business. Once I got my license it just felt like I had been doing this forever! I love Real Estate! My first Mentor was my friend, Fred Martinez here in Roanoke. He taught me well! I had an awesome first broker, Shaune Corbett. The first lender that ever came to a closing I met through clients. Matt Kranz also is a huge part of who I am today. He has seen my ups and downs and is a huge cheerleader to me and my team! Another huge decision in my career was moving to the fastest growing company, JPAR. I prompted climbed to the leader board in the Southlake office and hired a Real Estate Coach right at the start of 2020. Best decision ever. Thank you Greg Bowles for encouraging me and believing in me. Another huge shout out is to Mark Johnson, the CEO of JPAR. He IS JPAR. Thank you for all you do!!!
