We had the good fortune of connecting with Kim McLelland and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kim, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Focus on the people. When you take care of the people, the numbers will take care of themselves.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
1) What sets you apart from others?
MPG is not your “standard” real estate service provider. They are a family dedicated to serving their client’s with such excellence that their clients , in turn, are treated as part of the family and every effort is taken to advocate, guide, and lead client’s to their desired real estate goals.
2) What are you most proud/excited about?
We are excited about working together as a family and using our individual talents as a unique collaboration that offers creativity, dedication, and care in any real estate market.
3) How did you get to where you are today? Were there obstacles?
I come from a family that had a real estate background and passion, but I really entered the industry with a heart for my community and others. That has been my driving force in reaching my clients, to offer not just real estate counsel, but to strive to be the best community advocate , friend to others. I look at my business as more of a ministry than anything. With any business, of course, there are challenges. My deep faith provides me with an anchor when the markets shift and when obstacles arise.
4) Lessons I’ve learned along the way?
* It’s important to try our best to meet people where they are at, not impose our opinions or ideas onto what their dreams/goals are.
* God has given us so much, we take responsibility for our mission to deliver the best service to others, to give back to our clients and community is our priority.
5) What do you want the world to know about your brand/story?
We want our brand to really echo our hearts and to emulate that message to each and every person we come in contact with. Our faith teaches us to reach all people, to love them as God loves them, and to be the best provider we can be of our skillset. We take our responsibility in our business in that it’s our mission, our intention, to be purposeful about creating, maintaining, and reaching new people in this way each and every day.
