We had the good fortune of connecting with Kicks4Kicks Charity N/A and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kicks4Kicks Charity, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe that our most important factor behind our success is simply that we believe in treating people like people. That is who we are. We connect with the people we give to and those that support us. With this, we are able to grow our support system and meet the needs of those less fortunate. People get excited to support a cause that they see is of a genuine nature. Let’s bring back empathy, let’s pave road together; so that we can give others the comfort and confidence to walk alongside one another.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
We are a charity that bases itself in building genuine relations with those in need. We wanted to bring something important to those in need and we believe that is a brand new pair of shoes. We focus primarily on donating brand new pairs of shoes to those in need, but how we do this is by doing it on a personal level – we like to talk to the people we get to help and to listen to them. As a new charity group there have been many challenges, figuring out how we wanted to go about getting donations and getting the word out about our cause was one of the first challenges. Even now we face challenges now and then, I believe every new charity/business/job does, but we have a great team and great support from our family and friends that we know we can overcome each challenge that comes our way.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Fort Worth is a town full of many great places. Some of our favorite spots in the city worth checking out – Brewed Coffee, The Library Bar, Barbers Book Store, Avoca Coffee, Mesero, and the Clearfork area.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would love to shoutout every single person who has donated to our cause and to the Library Bar in downtown Fort Worth for allowing us to have a set drop off location for donations. We wouldn’t have been able to get where we are without the support of those around us.
