What should our readers know about your business?
I am a licensed professional specializing in natural styling to maintain the integrity of your hair. I’ve been in the loc industry for almost 4 years and my goal as a stylist is to create a place where my clients can relax and unwind in my chair. I decided to start my own businesses to provide myself financial freedom and ownership. I wanted to create something that would allow me the freedom to still be an active part of my children’s life and to also continue to pursue my passion. Trying to juggle home life and being a business owner will always come with its challenges, but I choose to wake up every day and put my BEST foot forward. You have to believe in it even when it doesn’t make sense, even when it’s falling apart. What sets my business apart is ME , I believe that when I wake up every day getting to do what I love I give my clients the best part of me.
Getting your hair done is more than just that, I’m giving and receiving so much genuine love and energy . The special bond you create in those moments are life changing.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If your in town I definitely recommend starting the day with Brunch and mimosas at Jonathan’s ! It’s literally the best . Then, we would hang out at Klyde Warren Park and enjoy a fantastic meal at Belse Restaurant. And lastly we’d end the night A Deep Ellum enjoying all the diverse music and barhopping.
