Hi Keysha, what do you attribute your success to?
My Name is Keysha Sanders and Im 37 and the owner Of Kloset85 Boutique … I have been in the DFW area for about 2 years now,I am from Homer La. What inspired me to open up Kloset85 Boutique was self confidence because there was a time in my life were I did not have the self confidence that I have now and I wanted to inspire other woman and let them know that is is ok to be plus size and wear what you want and be comfortable while doing it , and no matter the color , size or shape you are . In 2017 I lost my husband Brandon Sanders and I was lost and did not know which way to turn so I was so determine to figure out what I wanted to do with my life after that so I had to come up with something so I was on the phone with some friends and we was talking about to we could do and it all started out as me just making charm bracelets and I was not happy after doing that so I was like I wanted sell clothes and be more fashion so I was brainstorming on a name that would reflect on the remembrance of him so his favorite line was Best Thing Alive Since 85 with the year he was born so I said I would do Kloset85 with being the best thing alive and it have been and I had found myself in the midst of building it and I have help so many ladies with self love while helping myself .

All I can say is that the person that can stop you from your goals is yourself . If you believe , then everyone else will too . Be proud of who you are and don’t change for anyone

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I put in alot of hard work and my own personal income to invest into my business , there were times I wanted to give up and let it all go , it was never easy but I kept pushing even on days there was no sales , I was just posting wear items and doing different popup shops to get my name out here in DFW area and I was doing all of this during a pandemic which I still did not give up because I had to keep on going and keep my faith in God. I’m excited that I’m able to help all the plus size woman find fashion , be sexy and help build their confidence .With being a plus size woman I know the struggle of shopping for our sizes going to different stores trying to find a younger fashion at a affordable price. So that make me more excited to bring a plus size boutique world wide , I have shipped to all different states now and the ladies love it and I love it when they share and post items from Kloset85 it makes my heart smile to know that I’m able to help woman find nice comfortable clothing. Kloset85 Boutique is here for every plus size woman and I promise to bring luxurious fashion for your everyday wear. Our goal is to put the Fun in “Functional Fashion’… Kloset85 is here to keep you plus size ladies alive.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would go eat at the Juicy Seafood Bar , XOXO , TruKitchen , Benihana , Red velvet Tacos ,Razoo , Pappadeaux Seafood ,Villa Brazil Steakhouse , Yolk , and our favorite Chic Fil A … We would go shopping at the North Park Mall , Outlets in Grand Prairie and Allen Texas. We may check out a few lounges like 945 and Hookah Spots but we are not big on clubs we like sings old school r&b and having drinks and game nights at home.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am so thankful to have such and amazing support system that I have been blessed with. First I would like that thank God whose the head of my life without him I wouldn’t be where I’m at today. Thanks to my mom and stepdad Fred and Shelane Owens and my sister Tiffany Hamilton and the kids , they have been by my side throughout me growing my business I love and appreciate it. My pastor Kenneth Clemons who have been with me through my personal and business life thankful for all the prayers and more.I have a amazing family and friends that have been here with me from the start and still here with me today I love you all and very grateful for everything. I have amazing customers from the start and still here with me and new customers if it wasn’t from them my business would not be were it is at today from all the posting , sharing , and referrals ,and purchasing ,thank you all soooo much I’m forever thankful .
