We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Gutierrez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kevin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Well, I have worked in the night entertainment industry for 10 years, and I was always considered one of the best employees, one day I said to myself why am I still an employee if I am the one who produces, works and directs, and I make the decision buy my own nightclub

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started from the bottom in the city of Houston in a strip club, step by step I went up to the position of manager, I was generating very good money , I decided to move to Dallas Texas and I found what I was looking for, I was lucky to be sent to work under the orders of Mr. Robert Williamson District Manager, he with an experience of more than 20 years made me even better and developed my qualities in personnel management, my first company KASH RECORDZ is dedicated to the production of live events (investment, promotion, production) at first it was difficult because of my age to be taken seriously but little by little I made my way in the industry and we continue to grow holding events throughout the state of Texas, and OPIUM ICLUB is my nightclub in Arlington focused on regional Mexican music, but at the same time we carry out concerts of all kinds of genres, like all businesses we go through difficult times due to COVID, but we are back in the race

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start by eating a good Stake that is our pride in Texas at PAPAS STAKE HOUSE, THEN I WOULD TAKE HIM TO HAVE A FEW DRINKS AT DEEP ELLUM AREA AND CLOSE AT OPIUM CLUB IN ARLINGTON, TEXAS where you can enjoy dancing and Escapade Club 2009 Dallas
