We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelbi Mueller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelbi, how do you think about risk?
Risk has been the driving force behind every major decision in my life, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. From starting out on what college I was going to attend to my first big city move after graduating, it was all a risk. When I was stuck in corporate America making decent money but feeling completely unfulfilled, I took the biggest risk of all—I chose passion over security. I started posting daily on social media about fitness, healthy recipes, and living a balanced lifestyle, even when I was getting barely any likes and putting myself out there for potential judgment. It felt vulnerable posting every single day while working my corporate job, not knowing if anyone cared or if I was just wasting my time. But I pushed through because I genuinely loved what I was sharing, and I refused to let fear of other people’s opinions hold me back.
That leap of faith led me to create FK Body, my subscription-based fitness app that brings you virtual on-demand workouts, sculpt sessions, strength training, healthy recipes, and access to our events. Starting this business meant taking even bigger risks—partnering with a friend (which everyone warns you about), investing serious money into licensing, our LLC, marketing, videographers, and editing. My business partner and I have put everything on the line financially and emotionally. But here’s what I’ve learned: the moments that scare you the most are usually the ones that change your life the most. Every risk I’ve taken has been about betting on myself and my vision. It can definitely be terrifying sometimes, but I’d rather fail chasing something I’m passionate about than succeed at something that doesn’t excite me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
FK Body is all about breaking barriers and empowering individuals to embrace their strength—and yes, we love pushing limits, starting with our bold name. What sets us apart is our mission to make high-quality fitness accessible to everyone, everywhere. We create virtual on-demand workouts that bring amazing instructors directly to your living room, whether you’re in a city on the go or in a small rural town with no decent gyms in sight. Our platform offers sculpt workouts, strength training, lifting sessions, and tons of healthy recipes because I’m passionate that being healthy means fueling your body, not starving it. Too many fitness brands focus on restriction, but we’re all about nourishment and balance.

What I’m most excited about is the community we’re building—women supporting women, embracing their feminine power while getting strong and sexy. Getting here definitely wasn’t easy. Building my social media presence was probably the biggest challenge because you’re literally opening your entire life to the world. I had to learn to handle constant opinions, criticism, and judgment from strangers online. Some days your content would blow up and you’d feel on top of the world, and the next day you’d get zero views and question everything. Social media is this crazy rollercoaster that’s never solid or predictable, but I learned to focus on my end goal and not let the noise affect me.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that perseverance beats perfection every time. You have to be willing to show up consistently, even when no one’s watching or engaging. What I want the world to know about FK Body is that we’re not just another fitness app—we’re a movement. We’re here to remind women that they don’t have to choose between being feminine and being strong, between looking good and feeling good. We’re proof that betting on yourself is the best investment you’ll ever make.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Dallas for a week, I’d make sure she experienced everything I love about this city—and this is perfect timing for this question, I just did exactly this when my friend visited from New York last month! As a major foodie, we’d hit all my favorite spots starting with Lucia, this incredible small Italian restaurant in Bishop Arts that’s so hard to get into but absolutely worth it—hands down my favorite restaurant in Dallas. We’d also do dinner at Tango Room, the best steak in the city where I always get the filet with their cacio e pepe and just fall in love with the whole experience every time. The staff there is amazing, and it’s perfect for a fun girls’ night. Then we’d have to hit Uchi for the best sushi in Dallas—you have to do omakase and let the chef work their magic. And Evelyn’s is a must because it’s newer, so fun, and totally made for the girls.

We’d also have to go out at least one nights to Colombian Country Club for dancing, live music, and getting a little crazy. But we’re also healthy girls, so we’d balance it out with our favorite workouts—heated sculpt classes at Align Studio in Lower Greenville and lifting heavy at John Reed, which is this super aesthetic gym. When we want something more chill, we’d do an FK Body at home express workout. Honestly, I have to say that I think my house might be the coolest spot in Dallas, so we’d spend tons of time here hanging by the pool, having friends over, and just catching up on life. We’d probably squeeze in some shopping at NorthPark too because that’s always fun. It’s the perfect mix of indulgence, wellness, and just living our best lives in Dallas.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First, I have to give the biggest shout-out to my husband, who has been so amazing throughout this entire journey. He’s watched me disappear into my office for hours editing content, seen me constantly on my phone working on the business, and has given up so much of our already limited quality time together so I can chase this dream. We both have crazy busy lives, but he’s never once made me feel guilty for pursuing my passion. His support means everything to me.
Next, I have to shout out my business partner and friend, Francesca. We met at a workout class about a year ago and became fast friends, but a few months ago we took a walk on the trail and started talking about our dreams and goals. When she mentioned wanting to create her own fitness studio or app, and I shared my vision with my growing social media following and love for fitness, something just clicked. That same night, we decided to team up and make it happen. She’s one of those people who doesn’t just dream—she acts. We immediately started hiring lawyers, videographers, photographers, building our whole team. Having someone who actually moves on their goals instead of just wishing things would happen is incredible.
Finally, I have to give a shout-out to Align, my favorite fitness studio here in Dallas. It’s a heated yoga sculpt studio in Lower Greenville, and it’s literally where Francesca and I met. I’ve actually met so many of my closest friends there—they’ve built such an amazing, supportive community. It’s been such a special place in my fitness journey.
