We had the good fortune of connecting with keandria thibodeaux and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi keandria, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m originally from Beaumont Texas. I was raised in Austin Texas for most of my life and have been in Dallas area for the last 10 years. knowing my roots and were I come from I was able to see both sides of life. I witnessed the hustlers, movers, shakers, and honestly bums. I was able to make a decision on what I wanted in life and what I did not want from myself. My family never really told me how to be me. What shaped me, you know those real life lessons, is actually watching them be strong and work hard with no limit. I was always humbled and reminded to keep God at the center of it all.

What should our readers know about your business?
In high school I moved away to stay with a family member. That situation didn’t work and when I came home I was very distant. I think my mom new more about my passion for makeup than me, because she put it in-front of me as a way to express my self in a healthy way. At first it was something I did just to learn how to do, but then I realized how much stress I felt go away when I did makeup. it went from me doing it on myself to people noticing my talent, and asking me to do it on them. it was a challenge because so many people are MUAs. I realized worrying about others was only going to slow me down. I eventually got out of that and found what branded me different. I pride myself on not only graduating for business entrepreneurship administration, but of course the no filter look. Prettyurface is going to blow, because I allow everyone to see my process. I want the world to know with God I can do anything, and I’m coming for everything the statistics and ney-sayers said I couldn’t do.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely want to shout out God. It may sound corny to some, but I would be wrong if I didn’t say it. Without him I am nothing ad I mean that. I also want to thank my family, my mom, dad, aunts, and uncles. They all played a role in this.
