We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaylah Bree and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaylah, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
The most important decision I’ve made to contribute to my success is literally deciding to let go of all my personal. social accounts & putting all my energy into Take On Dallas socials. By doing that i was able to truly focus on growing & scaling Take On Dallas to its fullest potential.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
One thing that sets us apart, is that we cater to those who are NEW to Dallas to make connections with people who are in Dallas. We host Themed brunches every month & we believe in making everything as detailed as possible because it’s the small things that matter. We also host meetups throughout the month for us to explore Dallas TOGETHER so we are able to experience all that Dallas has to offer.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Let’s start Sunday Funday – Sundays we Brunch, so I’m always down to try a NEW spot but if we are going based of my recommended. I’d say Brunch at Sixty Vines & can’t forget the Mimosa Flight. After I’d headed over to Lava Cantina for a Day Party for the Grown & Sexy. Monday _ I’d set us up for a wine tasting at Wine a Little in Mckinney
Tuesday – I’d have a relaxing day at the spa at the joule ( full day pass )
Wednesday – We would go to a Sip & Paint class at a living Colour studio
Thursday – I’d set up a Dinner either at a new restaurant because dallas always has a new spot to try & then end up at Mr.X for Ladies Live R&b night
Friday – I’d find a speak easy to attend for a chill night out. Right now I love Tipsy Alchemist
Saturday – I’d find a popup, festival or a networking event to attend,

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Honestly my community deserves all the praise. They push me to keep going when i’m ready to give up. This continuous journey I’m on has highs & lows but the best part is being able to log on to our app, & have my community rooting me on, no matter what. I’ve made great friends that have helped me along my journey & it also means alot coming from people who genuinely watched our journey on Youtube moving from my home town & making my way to Dallas. & then encouraging me to even do Take On Dallas.
