Meet Jwoodz | Christian Hip-Hop Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jwoodz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jwoodz, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is giving people quality music that relays a message that they are perfectly imperfect and there is a God that loves them, and has a purpose for their life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
This wasn’t easy for me. Growing up I had a lot of people that never really believed in me. I had so much talent but it was overlooked and not being used. I knew if i drowned out the voices who said I can’t, and listened to who God said I was I could go somewhere if i just pursued and worked on my craft. With that being said I am extremely proud of where my music is going today and I can’t wait to see where I go in the music industry. A lesson I have learned along the way is no matter what I do, I know there is always more to learn and room to grow.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a small town guy who is a major foodie. I would have to take anyone that comes to kick it with me to Pluckers wing bar, Coco Shrimp and a few taco joints in the Northside of Fort Worth, TX. For a good night out I’d go to Topgolf or a bowling alley. Magnolia street is also a must to hit up coffee shops!

I want to give thanks to all the supporters who have encouraged me and given me feedback saying that my music has touched their lives.
