Meet Joshua Robinett | Chiropractor & Strength and Conditioning Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Robinett and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Joshua, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is determination and grit. I’ve been grinding since I was a kid. I started Olympic weightlifting when I was eight, then moved on to football, track, and baseball. The common theme through all of it was giving my best effort, no matter the task. I hated losing, not because of pride, but because I always knew I had more to give.
That mindset carried into adulthood. I worked my way through Texas State University, then spent long days welding in Abilene, sometimes sixteen hours at a time. After that, I got into the automotive world and learned everything from mechanic work to sales, team management, payroll, and running operations like a general manager. When I got tired of labor, I didn’t stop pushing forward; I changed direction.
I went back to school for chiropractic, and in my final year, I was balancing board exams, a full-time internship, and raising my daughter, Sage. Every step built more resilience and taught me the value of perseverance. That same work ethic is what helped me go from a new graduate to the owner of a well-established chiropractic clinic. For me, success has never been about luck. It’s always been about staying determined, showing up, and refusing to quit.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My clinic is called Sage Chiropractic. What makes it special is the atmosphere; when you walk in, it feels like home. We take customer service seriously and treat every patient like family. Our focus is on regulating the nervous system through individualized care that’s tailored to each person’s needs and preferences. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach. Every adjustment, every plan is designed to help people feel and function at their best.
Getting to where I am today definitely wasn’t easy. Learning how to run a business is a full-time job in itself, and I had zero prior experience. On top of that, I was figuring it all out while being a husband and the father of a two-year-old. The pressure of balancing it all, and knowing that success or failure fell squarely on me, magnified everything. One of the hardest lessons has been learning not to get too emotionally attached to the small stuff, because there’s always another challenge right around the corner.
What I’m most proud of is owning my own clinic. Sometimes it still feels surreal to even say it. But that’s what makes it so rewarding. Every step of the journey has been earned, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Entertainment- Grandscape in The Colony, Grapevine Botanical Gardens, Fort Worth Zoo, Perot Museum, Klyde Warren Park, PGA Headquarters, Cypress Waters, Coppell.
Food- Town Hearth, Hudson House, Weinburgers, Terry Black’s BBQ, Truck Yard, Rodeo Goat

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, my shoutout goes to my wife. When I met her, I didn’t have much direction. She was the one who showed me that there’s more to life than just working hard; it’s about having vision and purpose. She pushed me to chase something bigger and has been my biggest supporter ever since. No matter what challenges I’ve thrown her way, she’s always been the first to reassure me that I can do it. She worked while I went through chiropractic school, kept our dream alive, and gave me the greatest gift, our daughter, Sage. She’s done an incredible job raising such a happy and confident little girl, and I’m grateful for her every single day.
I also have to give a lot of credit to my family. Their support and guidance have been huge. They’ve shown me how high I can push if I’m willing to work hard enough. They’d drive two hours just to watch Sage while I was completing my full-time internship, and my wife was working. They’ve been there every step of the way, and that kind of love and commitment means the world to me.
