Hi JOSE, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Sotol Cara Blanca has a 3-point difference that generate competitive advantages. 1. It is the softest sotol that exists on the market, with only 36 degrees of alcohol the drink when taken alone leaves a soft and fruity flavor on the palate.
2. Quality- the most important thing for sotol Cara Blanca is quality, for this reason the best pineapples are used and the entire production process is monitored by a chemical engineer.
3- No smoky flavor- at sotol Cara Blanca we believe that the smoky flavor hides the ancestral flavors of the plant, which is why we cook our plants in an autoclave avoiding the smoky flavor.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Sotol Cara Blanca is a company that started just 1 year 8 months ago, which produces and markets sotol in the city of Chihuahua. It currently has more than 350 points of sale in Mexico and the United States.

Cara Blanca differs from the other sotols thanks to three characteristics in particular:
1- Quality- Quality is the most important characteristic for Cara Blanca, that is why we use only the best pineapples for its production and a chemical engineer monitors the production process step by step.
2- Smooth flavor- Sotol Cara Blanca has an alcohol content of 36 degrees which allows the palate to feel the ancestral flavors of the plant, leaving a fruity and smooth flavor on the palate.
3- No Smoky Flavor- At sotol Cara Blanca we believe that the smoked flavor hides the primordial flavors of the plant, which is why we cook it in an autoclave avoiding the smoked flavor.

At sotol Cara Blanca we are proud to present a regional product of the highest quality, such as sotol.

The name of our sotol comes from the typical Chihuahuan cattle, commonly known as Cara Blanca cattle.
Chihuahuan cattle raising is one of the most important in the country and it is an activity that has left the legacy of our ancestors in us.

Throughout this project we have faced many adversities, the most important is that people do not know sotol as a distillate and think that it is a type of mezcal or tequila, which is not true, sotol is a completely different distillate that comes from another plant different from the agave. This has been overcome thanks to the story telling that we have used as a marketing strategy, differentiating ourselves from tequila and mezcal.

Sotol is a mystical and soft drink that celebrates the awakening of the flavors of Mexican lands.

Move over Tequila and Mezcal, Sotol is the new kid in town.
