Meet Jordan Haynes | Interior Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Haynes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jordan, what is the most important factor behind your success?
When it comes to Three Generation Creative, we feel the most important factor behind our company’s success is our faith. We strive to put Jesus Christ first in everything we do. We pray before our client meetings and truly desire to use the gifts God has given us in a way that always honors him. We know we are not perfect, we know we fall short, but this is what keeps us going every day and it is what has brought us to where we are today. For many people their home is their safe place, the place they bring others into to gather and have fun, or the place they go to decompress and recharge. We feel everyone should love their home.

What should our readers know about your business?
Three Generation Creative is an interior design firm made up of three generations! Myself, my grandmother, mom, and youngest sister all have an eye for design and we have been blessed to be able to start a business that not only uses our gifts, but allows us to do so with family. It is not lost on us how blessed we are to have the family we do. We do not take it for granted and we cherish this opportunity to bring our gifts into our clients homes.
While Three Generation Creative is an Interior Design Firm, we are far more relational than we are business! We get to know our clients and build relationships with them, and end up having lifelong communication with them. We feel that we are set apart from many other design firms for many reasons but one of the more prominent reasons is affordability. We feel that everyone should love their home.
We have prayed over the opportunity to one day start a business together doing what we all love and today, we can thank God for answering that prayer. There are challenges and imperfections that arise daily, but we have faith that God has brought us this far and will carry us through!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would visit a new coffee shop every morning! We would begin with Summer Moon in Downtown Celina, TX. We would then continue to make our way through all of the shops that Downtown Celina has to offer! It is too cute not to spend an afternoon exploring. We love some good Downtown shopping, drinking, and eating! Have you been to Downtown McKinney, TX?? If your saying anything but duh, stop reading and go now!
Our day would likely start with breakfast at Layered, do some shopping at Landry Kate, Rocking AB, and Willow House, lunch at Cadillac Pizza, more shopping at Birds & Words, Uptown, and Homeology and end the day with dinner at Harvest! Shopping and food are my fuel!!
If you have not tried Brasao Brazillian Steakhouse, go ahead and save up your meals for the day and have an unforgettable dinner! Incredible meat selection and wonderful service!
Being that I have two children under two and live a little further away from the hustle and bustle of the city life, my nightlife recommendations are few and far between!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Family & Friends! Three Generation Creative would not be where it is today without the support of family and friends! It has been a dream of mine and my families for a very long time to own our own business in Interior Design.
Interior Design dates back to my grandmother, Jeri McBroom, which then passed it onto my mom who then passed it on to my self and my youngest sister. We re-design our homes/rooms on a very frequent basis and always have.
Growing up, my birthday gift almost every year was a new room design! I would go away for a weekend and would come home to my mom surprising me with a new style! It was one of my favorite memories.
Three Generation Creative started with dream that turned into a prayer that has now become our reality!
My best friend pushed me to just dive in and I am so thankful she did! To be able to work along side my mother, grandmother, and sister is an answered prayer in so many ways! We are so eager to watch God work!
